Located in Downtown Garland across from the Downtown square, the Plaza Theatre, a local landmark since 1941 provides a classic setting for the finest in stage productions, concerts, business meetings, receptions and other special events. Now, in its finest hour, the Plaza has been completely refurbished in the art deco style to reflect the bygone era; you travel back in time when walking through its doors. The Plaza provides the ultimate theatre-going experience enhanced with luxurious velvet seating and a motorized waterfall curtain. The curtain opens to free movie showings throughout the year.
