DFW Asian-American Soccer Tournament

Diversity, culture, and the love for soccer is bringing over 30 teams from 7 states across the U.S. to Garland to compete this year. Representing 5 Asian countries—Vietnam, Japan, Korea, China, and Nepal—this truly embodies the spirit of the Asian Soccer Tournament!

The 6th Annual DFW Asian American Soccer Tournament (DAAST), hosted by Vietnam United FC of Garland, will be held June 21-22, 2025.

DAAST 2022

DAAST 2022 had 36 teams from 14 states including California, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. Notably, a team from Canada also participated in the tournament. It was the largest Asian American Soccer Tournament in the US.

The main goal is to provide a high-quality tournament for teams by offering fair and top-level soccer competition and a getaway vacation for players and their families.

About VN United FC

VN United FC is an Vietnamese American amateur soccer club found in 2015 in Richardson, Texas to unite many Vietnamese American soccer teams with different names under one club name to represent their heritage in the DFW area; thus the name “Vietnam United FC” was established to serve as one united voice.

The VN United FC is a non-profit organization that serves Vietnamese American soccer players (both youth and adults) and support other Vietnamese organizations in Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) area.

Missions:

Promote soccer sportsmanship, education, health, and economic growth
Preserve and present our cultural heritage

Key Works:

Open soccer tournament to promote soccer sportsmanship, unity through sport, and culture heritage
Volunteer in local and general elections such as registering Vietnamese American voters, working and translating at the polls, etc.
Volunteer to clean up and distribute foods at local Vietnamese communities
Provide free soccer training for youth to promote healthy sport
Donate food and money to charity organization to help snow storm’s victims
