Named the Dallas Observer's | The Best 5K/Fun Run |Best of Dallas/Readers' Choice 2021

Get Ready, former athletes and couch enthusiasts!

Lace-up those running or walking shoes and join us for our annual Garland Guzzler 0.5K – a physically undemanding but mentally strenuous race. Head to Downtown Garland Square to cheer on participants, then stick around for the post-race fun, featuring a Fall Music Fest, costume contest, games, and delicious food and craft brews. Don't forget to dress up – costumes are encouraged!

The Downtown Garland Station is served by the Northeast segment of the DART Rail Blue Line. Downtown Garland Station patrons can set their watches by the huge clock tower in a setting where details suggest an old-fashioned train depot, with easy access to Garland's major civic centers and Performing Arts Center, linked by a crosswalk to the Garland Central Transit Center.
