Lakewood Brewing Co. is hosting its first Muy Importante Cinco with a celebration fit for the ages. The North Dallas family-owned brewery will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with music by Sabor Puro Cumbia from 5 to 8 p.m., eats from Medellin Tacos, and surprises galore incorporating Lakewood’s Muy Importante Mexican lager. Revelers can sample Muy Importante strawberry slushies and Tajin Pineapple Muy Importante while supplies last.
Muy Importante, a Lakewood fan favorite available statewide, is the perfect blend of a traditional light Mexican lager and a margarita made with orange, lime, agave, and sea salt. The refreshing and easy-to-drink beer has half the calories of a margarita and is the perfect choice for those wanting a Texas-made beer for their Cinco celebrations.
