Chef Armstrong's journey to success with Peewee's Crab Cakes began in New Orleans, where he first started cooking in his apartment. His food quickly became a hit with the locals, but unfortunately, Hurricane Katrina forced him to move to Dallas, Texas. There, he continued to hone his craft and learn new techniques. Eventually, he felt ready to return to New Orleans and start fresh. With little more than his savings, he began selling his food at small events and pop-ups. Over time, the demand for his cuisine grew, and Chef Armstrong was able to open his first to-go restaurant in New Orleans, which he named Peewee's Crab Cakes on the Go. Today, his community continues to enjoy his delicious food, which has become a local favorite.
