Lakewood Brewing Co. (LBC) is toasting the scary season with its Let’s Get Weird 2022 event, Nightmare on Executive Street. The night will feature spooky beer releases, costume contests for all ages, and a pup costume parade! Beer selections will include The Witch, a bourbon barrel-aged Temptress with a hint of ghost pepper, cinnamon, allspice, ginger, coffee, and maple, and 5 other novel Lakewood brews to be announced!
The event kicks off at noon with some family-friendly fun starting with a kid’s costume contest (candy included) followed by a dog costume parade at 2:00 p.m. SPCA will be in attendance with adoptable dogs looking for new homes on-site. The festivities continue with live music from Bethnie Rose Band and Learning Names from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Guests should come dressed to impress for the adult costume contest at 6:00 p.m. Prizes will be awarded!
Come join Lakewood Brewing Co. for a their yearly ode to “weird beers” and Halloween. General admission is free for all ages. Guests can purchase a $25 Sample Card which includes 8 4-ounce pours, gratuity, and a souvenir glass of their choice.
