Come out to the 2nd annual Garland Community Mental Health Fair, where the goal is to get life saving information into the hands of local residents. Free mental health screenings and crisis planning, mental health and substance use information and resources, and medication disposal bags will be provided. There will also be food, music, and MORE!
This event will be great for people who are interested in beginning their own mental health journey as well as those who may be concerned about a family member or just want the information to save for the future. Kids and families are welcomed.
In addition to the focus on the mind, there will be a body wellness area which will have free chair massages, a nutritionist, and yoga demonstrations.
This fair is hosted by Room For Change & Drug Prevention Resources, along with sponsorships from Connections Wellness Group, Perimeter Behavioral Hospital, Newport Healthcare, and Dispose RX!
