with two socially distanced individual/family activities. Stephanie

Sunday, December 27, 2020. Leader: Stephanie Hanson – Nature Journaling. Collections From the Field invites you to help create a virtual field
guide for Spring Creek Forest Preserve! Field guides are a great way to
get to know the flora and fauna of a local area and appreciate the
landscape through observation and creativity. From December 26
th through January 2nd
we invite you to submit a field journal page with sketches and written
observations of any organism you find interesting at Spring Creek Forest
Preserve. Take a photo of your field journal page and email it to
collectionsfromthefield@gmail.com.

stroller-compatible; everyone must be able to walk approximately 1 mile.
Clothing: Even in the heat, wear long pants and sturdy shoes (no
sandals) for your protection from poison ivy and thorns. Apply insect
repellent. Bring water.
