Total Eclipse on the Square

Join us on the Downtown Garland Square on Monday, April 8 beginning at 11 a.m. for a presentation from Garland ISD Planetarium Director Charlie Ruiz, activities, games, and of course, the eclipse!

Garland is directly in the path of totality, so you’ll have front row seats to the solar eclipse event of the century!

FREE solar eclipse glasses will be available while supplies last.

Saturday Stamps

Embark on a journey through Downtown Garland by picking up a FREE Downtown Garland Passport at the Garland Visitor Center. On Saturdays, collect stamps at participating businesses with your passport. The Downtown Garland Station is served by the Northeast segment of the DART Rail Blue Line. Downtown Garland Station patrons can set their watches by the huge clock tower in a setting where details suggest an old-fashioned train depot, with easy access to Garland's major civic centers and Performing Arts Center, linked by a crosswalk to the Garland Central Transit Center.
